When it comes to Phlebotomy training, Australia and New Zealand have slightly different requirements. If you looking to have your training in NZ, one must have a high school diploma, together with First Aid certificate in order to start the training. In Australia, on the other hand, everybody that is looking to work as phlebotomist, need to take a course called CERT III Phlebotomy. This course is recognized nationwide and enables you to work in various different parts of the country.
